JJ PRODUCTIONS

Most institutions know what they do. Fewer can show the world why it matters.

JJ Productions was founded to explore that why. Based in Brussels and operating globally, we work with international organisations, governments, and companies at the frontier of consequential change — energy transition, environmental policy, humanitarian action, scientific discovery — to produce photography, film, and text that give their work genuine narrative force.
Our method is journalistic. We embed, observe, and find the human story inside complex realities. The result is visual content that reveals an institution’s mission from within — through the people, places, and moments that make it real.
Work produced through JJ Productions has been presented to heads of government and senior ministers, published in National Geographic, GEO, and Stern, and deployed by the United Nations, the IAEA, WWF, and Oxfam to inform, persuade, and mobilise audiences worldwide.
Justin Jin leads all field production — photography, video direction, and narrative writing. National Geographic Explorer, Harvard Nieman Fellow, Cambridge-educated. Over 25 years producing long-form visual work across Europe, Asia, and Africa.
Heleen van Geest leads production and post-production. Former Senior Video Producer at Reuters, where she headed the Brussels bureau covering EU institutions and coordinated teams across Russia, Central Asia, and China. She brings 20 years of broadcast-level production discipline to every project, from logistics and crew management through to final edit.
Together, they deliver work that reaches the audiences and platforms that matter.
