In Search of Green Hydrogen

French entrepreneur Thierry Lepercq believes he has the answer to Europe’s need to decarbonise while increasing energy production – using solar power to split water into hydrogen and oxygen, creating clean fuel that can be piped across continents. From Spain’s old steel towns to Mauritania’s vast Sahara desert, photographer Justin Jin follows Lepercq’s ambitious journey to build the world’s largest green hydrogen project.
